Accessing Webmail Through cPanel

This article explains how to access a webmail application from within cPanel.

What Are Webmail Applications?

Webmail applications allow you to check your e-mail accounts using your web browser. You can read and compose e-mails, manage contacts, and perform other basic tasks. While offline e-mail clients like Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook offer more features, they also require more setup.

cPanel includes the Roundcube webmail application.

InfoNote: Webmail is optional. You can use an e-mail client such as Thunderbird or Outlook, or even a combination of both. For example, you might use webmail while at work and download e-mail to your home computer using an e-mail client. For setup instructions, see the related article on configuring e-mail clients.
