Configuring E-mail Accounts Through Webmail

This article explains how to configure an e-mail account using the webmail interface. E-mail account users can update settings and preferences directly in their web browser, including:

  • Autoresponders

  • Account password

  • Preferred webmail application

  • E-mail filters

  • E-mail forwarders

How to Configure an Account Using Webmail

  1. Log in to the e-mail account through the webmail interface.

  2. The first time you log in, the webmail landing page will appear.

  3. Under Change your webmail client, click Roundcube.

Configuration Options from the Webmail Landing Page

  • Manage Your Inbox

    • Autoresponders – Set up automated replies for times when you are away or unavailable.

    • Email Filters – Create rules to automatically handle incoming messages.

    • Forwarders – Forward incoming e-mails to another address.

  • Edit Your Settings

    • Configure Calendar and Contacts Client – Manage calendars and contacts.

    • Password & Security – Change your account password.

    • Contact Information – Update details for account notifications and password reset confirmations.

    • Account Preferences – Manage general webmail settings.

  • Fight Spam

    • Spam Filters – Adjust spam detection settings.

  • Open Your Inbox

    • Click Open to launch your inbox.

    • IdeaTip: To automatically open your inbox and skip the landing page in future, select Open my inbox when I log in.

You can return to the main landing page at any time in Roundcube by clicking Webmail Home.
